Carlos Felipe Montoya is a Colombian director and screenwriter. His work has been screened at multiple festivals around the world and has won numerous awards, including the Generation Jury Special Prize for Best Short Film at the Berlin International Film Festival—Berlinale in 2019, the Macondo Award from the Colombian Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for Best Short Film in 2015, the Santa Lucía award at the Bogotá Short Film Festival—Bogoshorts for Best Short Film and Best Editing in 2015, and the Latin Grammy Award^® granted by the Latin Recording Academy for Best Long Form Music Video in 2020.
