Yes. There are no limitations on how many times a filmmaker may submit the same project. Our selection processes are highly competitive, and not being selected for a specific program is not necessarily a reflection of the project’s quality.
Each call for applicants and program has its own independent selection process. Applications are reviewed on their own merits, regardless of any previous submissions.
You are eligible to apply. Our organization supports professional filmmakers at all stages of their careers, from emerging voices to established artists.
Yes. There are no restrictions on projects that have been submitted to or supported by other development programs.
No. To ensure fairness and equal treatment for all applicants, once the application deadline has passed, no updated materials will be accepted until the selection process is complete.
Yes. Filmmakers accepted into the program will be invited to submit updated materials prior to the start of the program.
Yes. All application materials and related communications are treated as confidential and are reviewed solely for evaluation purposes by a limited group of trusted readers.
No. Selection decisions are based solely on the application form and the materials specifically requested in the call for applicants. Please do not submit any additional materials.
All communications with applicants are conducted via email. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that the email address provided in their application is accurate and actively monitored.
All applicants will be notified by email of the Selection Committee’s final decision, regardless of the outcome. Please note that, due to the high volume of submissions we receive, individual feedback cannot be provided.
The application and participation fees are significantly subsidized by our organization and cover only a portion of the actual cost of the programs. As our organization is not affiliated with or regularly funded by any film institutes or festivals, we are unable to offer additional fee reductions or waivers.
Many national film boards and funding bodies provide grants to filmmakers selected for our programs. Applicants are strongly encouraged to explore such funding options before applying.
Our organization also maintains partnerships with film institutes and agencies in several countries that offer support for attending specific programs run by our organization. Any such opportunities will be announced in the relevant call for applicants.
Accepted applicants are typically given 10 days from the date of notification to submit confirmation forms and materials, including payment of the participation fee.
