Laura Mendelzon is a French-Argentine filmmaker. Since 2017 she has been working as a script reader and consultant for studios in the United States such as STX and Lionsgate, as well as for national film institutes in Europe. Laura has taught courses and workshops on screenwriting and film analysis in different languages and in different parts of the world. As a reader, she has evaluated over 500 feature film projects. Her first short film, 82-92, will be presented at the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival, the UK Jewish Film Festival, and the BCN Sports Film Festival. In a previous life, Laura was a festival producer. She hopes to devote her immediate future to the making of Las chicas y el fin del mundo, the feature film she is currently developing.
