Synopsis

The story of Lilibeth and her daughter María unfolds in the municipal landfill of Managua — the former a scavenger, the latter a devoted caretaker of a litter of puppies. Circumstances force Lilibeth to leave her daughter in a recycling center. From that moment on, María sets out to find her mother again. Her journey becomes one of growth and the discovery of her own identity.
