Fernanda Sarkis Coelho is a Brazilian screenwriter from Minas Gerais. She holds a diploma in Screenwriting from Roteiraria and a postgraduate degree in Art Direction and Copywriting from West Herts College, United Kingdom. Her audiovisual career began in 2014, working as a content manager and associate producer on documentary projects, including the short Kite Fight, which premiered on The New York Times Op-Docs and received a Vimeo Staff Pick (2015), as well as the docu-reality series No Borders and the series Reis da Rua. Fernanda has been a member of the Basic and Advanced Screenwriting Groups (2024–2026) of Projeto Marieta in São Paulo. She was a semifinalist in the FRAPA Feature Film Screenwriting Competition (2023) and a finalist at the ROTA/Cabíria Screenwriting Festival (2022), in the Female Protagonist category, with the co-written short film Obra, set to premiere at the Iberoamerican Competition of the 2026 Huesca International Film Festival.
