Jennie Allen (USA)

Jennie Allen is a filmmaker whose work includes Failing Better Now and the upcoming film 111, written with director Mauro Mueller. Produced by C-Films with Auguste Content, 111 has secured distribution in Canada, Switzerland, and Germany, with SquareOne handling world sales. Jennie’s films have been recognized by the Adrienne Shelly Foundation and supported through artist grants from the Brooklyn Arts Council and the Greene County Council on the Arts. Her short films have screened and won awards at festivals worldwide and have been distributed by Shorts International. Jennie holds an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University in New York City, where she received the Lewis Cole Award for Excellence in Screenwriting.
