Mauro Mueller is a Swiss-Mexican narrative filmmaker with an M.F.A. in Film from Columbia University in New York. His short film
Un mundo para Raúl won a Student Academy Award–Oscar
® in 2013, as well as prizes at Aspen Shortsfest and New York Shortsfest. His films have screened at various festivals, including Singapore, Morelia, Huesca, Guanajuato, Palm Springs and Brooklyn, and have won twice the CINE Golden Eagle Award, the Big Beach Best directing award, the IFP Audience Award, and the CINE Special Jury Award. Mauro was part of the Masterclass Atelier Paris-Ludwigsburg, a post-graduate program which is tailored around European co-production/distribution, at La Fémis Film School in Paris. He was part of the Guadalajara Talent Campus, Zurich Master Class, Script Station at the 2012 Berlinale Talent Campus, and ScriptConnect in New York City as well as in Los Angeles with his feature script
Fingerplay. Mauro produced the feature film
Copenhagen in Denmark and is producing the omnibus feature film
Remember Me Berlin. He is co-owner of the production company Fidelio Films.
