Sis Gürdal is an award-winning writer, director and producer from Turkey. She studied International Politics and Film Studies at King’s College London. Following her graduation, she has worked on numerous short films and documentaries and has produced campaigns for brands including Nike, Prada, Calvin Klein, Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, and Vogue USA. Sis continues to work as a producer while pursuing her directing and writing. Her latest short film, Postcards from the Orient, screened at the BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Short Film Festival in the United Kingdom and won multiple awards, including Best Experimental Film at Melbourne Short Film Festival and Best Experimental Film at the UN Women USA Global Voices Film Festival.
