Andrew Sala is an Argentinean director, producer and scriptwriter. He graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires with a degree in Economics and later studied Film at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, where he now teaches. His first feature film,
Pantanal (2014), premiered at the Warsaw International Film Festival and screened at the Stockholm Film Festival and Mar del Plata Film Festival, among others.
Asesinato en Junín (2012), one of several short films he directed, won Best Film at the Tampere International Film Festival and the Special Jury Prize at the Rencontres Henri Langlois in Poitiers, France. Andrew is currently developing his second feature film,
La barbarie.
