Bent-Jorgen Perlmutt is an Emmy®-nominated director, producer, and lecturer at Princeton University. His film credits include Massacre at the Stadium (Netflix, 2019), Invisible Killers: Ebola (Discovery Channel, 2018), Havana Motor Club (Samuel Goldwyn Films, 2016), Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel (Samuel Goldwyn Films, 2011), Man vs. Volcano (National Geographic, 2011), Valentino: The Last Emperor (Acolyte Films, 2008), Lumo (winner of a 2007 Student Academy Award-Oscar®), Les Vulnerables (Closing Night Short of the 2007 New York Film Festival), and Control Room (Magnolia Pictures, 2004). Bent-Jorgen is a member of the Director’s Guild of America, the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Indie Film”, a juror for the News and Documentary Emmy® Awards, and a recipient of two Sundance Institute grants. He holds a B.A. with honors in Creative Writing from Brown University and an M.F.A. with honors in Film Directing from Columbia University in New York City. He participated in Cine Qua Non Lab’s 2011 Script Revision Lab.
