Bernice González Bofill is an award-winning Puerto Rican filmmaker based in New York, known for her storytelling exploring identity, resilience, and cultural heritage. Her work has been featured at festivals in Puerto Rico and New York. Her short film TV LUV won Best Screenplay and acting awards at the International Short Film Festival of Puerto Rico. More recently, Sunrise, Afterparty, Kiss earned Best Editing (Romantic Comedy) at the New York Women in Film & Television (NYWIFT) Online Shorts Festival. Her feature script Victoria is in development through Ruta Crítica, and her script No War Without Humans was a second-rounder at the Austin Film Festival. With a background in editing and post-production, Bernice crafts narratives with precision and emotional depth. Whether in film or theater, she brings compelling stories to life, reflecting her Puerto Rican roots and the transformative power of storytelling.
