Dario Aldana (Brazil)

Dario Aldana is a screenwriter, producer and director who graduated in film from the State University of Paraná, Brazil. His films have participated in important film labs and festivals in and outside Brazil, such as Olhar de Cinema, the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival, the Brasilia Film Festival, the Inffinito Film Festival, where he won the award for best film, and the Huesca International Film Festival, where he was considered for the Oscars® shortlist. Dario is about to shoot his first horror short film, Maldição de Cari, a project that was just supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture, in addition to his first solo feature film, Procesión de los muertos (The Dead Parade), which is in an advanced stage of financing.
