Elaisha Stokes is a filmmaker and journalist. Her work has been recognized by the Sundance Institute, the Emmy Foundation and the Webby Awards. She recently completed her short film Kabibi, shot on location in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her documentary credits include Cyberwar on Vice and National Geographic’s Explorer. She holds a Masters in Documentary Filmmaking from Columbia University in New York. Elaisha was a participant at Cine Qua Non Lab’s 2018 Script Revision Lab with her project Kabibi.
