Fabio Canale is a Brazilian filmmaker, now based in São Paulo, with a solid background in directing, screenwriting, and editing. His directorial debut, the mini-series Banality of Evil, a compelling police investigative drama thriller, showcased his ability to craft complex, thought-provoking narratives that captivate audiences from start to finish. Over the years, he has worked on a variety of independent films, documentaries, and television projects, many of which have been showcased at international festivals. He gained extensive experience in both creative and technical roles, working as an editor and script supervisor on ads, branded content, and television series. Fabio also lends his expertise as an international consultant for television and film projects in Angola. Always focused on creating original stories, he continues to develop new projects that connect with audiences, drawing on his diverse background to push creative boundaries.
Jungle Fever — At the agro-frontier where the Amazon forest is giving way to soybeans and illegal mining, Tiago, a weary and cynical journalist, arrives to investigate a hydroelectric plant accused of land misuse. As he delves deeper, he uncovers a dark rabbit hole of drug trafficking, illegal mining, and a secret medical research scheme tied to a potential pandemic virus.
