Rosa Caldeira (Brazil)

Rosa Caldeira is a trans filmmaker born in the favela of São Paulo who writes and directs films that have received more than 35 awards and have been screened in over 200 festivals around the world. Graduated in Sociology and specialized for three years at the renowned International School of Film and Television of Cuba (EICTV), he is currently writing his first feature film, La Felicidade, which was selected for important festivals and markets such as the Marché du Film of the Cannes Film Festival and the Locarno Film Festival. Rosa is a screenwriter of new television series for Globoplay and HBO and is a member of the Brazilian network Talentos Paradiso and one of the founders of APTA, the Association of Trans Audiovisual Professionals of Brazil. He is a co-founder of the audiovisual production company Maloka Filmes and a director represented in advertising by the production company NUV&M.
