Sivan Levy Zakin (Israel)

Sivan Levy Zakin is a filmmaker, actress, and musician born in Tel Aviv. She has gained recognition for her directorial short film Cherchez la Femme, that premiered at the 59th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival in 2009, followed by Dina & Noel at the 63rd edition in 2013. Her work has been screened at various festivals worldwide, including NYLA Film Festival, Outfest, Teddy Awards, Canada Film Festival, and Aesthetica in the United Kingdom. Sivan has received several awards for her acting performances, including the Israeli Academy Award for Best Actress, Tallinn Film Festival Award, Haifa Film Festival Award, and the Israeli Critics Award. As a musician, she is known for scoring films and has earned critical acclaim for her recent dream pop EP releases, SIDE:S and SIDE:W.
