Tanner Matthews is an award-winning filmmaker, IPA award-winning photographer and content creator that has produced long-form and short-form creative seen by millions. His work has gained recognition internationally at top-tier film festivals and nationally on channels such as NatGeo, Discovery, A&E, ESPN and CNN.
Tanner founded The Pacific Film Company in 2015 and graduated with a M.F.A. in Film Production from Chapman University in California in 2016. His directorial debut feature film,
The American Dreamless, was sponsored by Kodak in 2016. In 2019 Tanner co-directed
Bombie, a feature documentary that premiered at the Raindance Film Festival in London. In the summer of 2021, he wrapped post-production on
La Jaca, a short film starring Luciana Elisa Quinonez (
Starfish) and Lorenzo Parro (
Confetti).
