The Script Revision Lab is a two-week residential workshop for filmmakers from around the world who are developing a feature-length narrative script. Held every August in Tzintzuntzan, Mexico, the lab is open to professional filmmakers with a complete script ready for the revision process. The lab is conducted in English.

The Storylines Lab is designed for projects at an early stage of development, from initial concept to treatment. The lab is held virtually through online sessions. Conducted in English, it takes place every April/May and is open to professional filmmakers developing a feature‑length narrative script.

The Cine Qua Non Retreat is a 10‑day writing retreat specifically intended for Cine Qua Non alums from any program who are developing a feature‑length narrative script. The retreat takes place in the first half of each year in Tzintzuntzan, Mexico. All brainstorming sessions during the retreat are conducted in English.
