Her latest short film, Out of Water, explores a mermaid-for-hire’s relationship to magic. She’s currently developing Out of Water into a feature. Madi is thrilled to participate in Cine Qua Non Lab’s Script Revision Lab developing her screenplay Emery & Ellsworth Make a Picture, a comedy based on the true story of brothers Emery and Ellsworth Kolb and their making of the world’s first outdoor adventure film.
Emery & Ellsworth Make a Picture ⎯ In 1911, brothers Emery and Ellsworth Kolb took a motion picture camera down 1,100 miles of unrelenting river with the dream of filming America’s southwest canyons. They were met with more adventure than they bargained for.
