Andrés Orozco Quintero is a Colombian screenwriter, director and producer. He holds an M.F.A. in Film Directing and New Media from the TAI School of the Arts in Spain, where he also completed an M.F.A. in Digital Film Direction and Production at the University of La Laguna. His short films have been supported by Colombia’s Film Development Fund (FDC) and have screened at more than 70 international film festivals, as well as being acquired by streaming platforms such as Directv GO, Prime Video and Fawesome. His fiction miniseries Sin la luz perpetua is available on Prime Video in Spain and the United Kingdom. Andrés received a National Journalism Award granted by the Bogotá Journalists’ Circle (CPB) for his documentary series ¿Y dónde es el partido?, a project that also won the TAL (Televisión América Latina) Award for best journalism program.
