Caroline Margoni (Brazil)

Caroline Margoni is a Brazilian screenwriter and criminologist. She graduated in Audiovisual Arts and furthered her training in Cuba, Brazil, and Argentina. She holds a degree in Criminology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS). She has written series such as Psi (HBO) and Dois Tempos and Americana (Disney/Star+). She is the screenwriter of the feature film A Vítima Invisível (Netflix) and the creator and general director of the documentary series Cinéticas. She wrote the documentary Nosso Sangue, Nosso Corpo (Our Blood, Our Body) (Fox Lab), winner of the International Emmy Kids Award in 2019. In 2026 she will release an original documentary series and a feature film about true crimes, currently in production for streaming. Caroline is developing her first feature film, which will be directed by Gabriela Amaral Almeida, and coordinates the screenwriting team for an investigative series. In criminology, she investigates the dramaturgy of jury trials and the use of algorithms in the fight against crime.
