Marissa Goldman is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles and New York. Her short film Max Distance premiered at SXSW and went on to screen at Aspen Shortsfest, Palm Springs International ShortFest, and other festivals. It later premiered online on Nowness and Vimeo Staff Picks and was on many other platforms. Her other short films have been selected by NoBudge, the Brooklyn Film Festival, New/Next Film Festival, and more. She has created work for Adult Swim, Vice, Complex, and more. Her work has been featured in publications such as IndieWire, Vulture, Teen Vogue, Fast Company, WNYC, Directors Notes, and Time Out New York. She directed and created the first live-streamed comedy and video show, Marissa’s Google Doc Quarantine Party, highlighted by Google Arts & Culture. In addition to her narrative work, Marissa creates branded content and social media videos for a variety of clients and brands. She has a degree in Film from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She is currently working on several new projects, including her first feature film.
