Michelle Malley Campos (Puerto Rico)

A New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts alum and a WIF/GM Latina Acceleration Grant recipient, Michelle Malley Campos is an award-winning screenwriter and director from Puerto Rico with over a dozen short films and music videos under her belt and over ten years of experience as an Assistant Director and member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA). Michelle is the founder and president of the production company Vientos PR, with two feature films currently in development, and is listed as a director of commercials at the Nostrom production company in Puerto Rico. She also runs a community film project since 2012 and manages audiovisual content for the Taller Comunidad La Goyco cultural center.

Valle Escondido Tanamá and her parents, of Taíno descent, come to her wealthy uncle’s house to provide a catering service for a mysterious guest, shortly after the untimely death of the family matriarch, guardian of the land. But when the real intention of the dinner is revealed, everyone takes violent action to protect what belongs to them.
