Nat Difford (UK/USA)

Nat Difford is a writer based in New York, where she has developed projects for Amazon and NBC Universal. Nat was Head of Filmmaker Development at Cinereach, a non-profit film fund and production company where she ran a fellowship program dedicated to creative exploration. Alumni fellows include Eliza Hittman, Andrew Thomas Huang, Nicole Perlman, Young Jean Lee, and Barry Jenkins. Prior to joining Cinereach, Nat was Senior Program Officer of the non-profit film fund Chicken & Egg Pictures. She has extensive film industry experience and as an independent producer. Nat was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best First Feature for Adam Leon’s feature debut, Gimme the Loot, and she co-produced Adam Leon’s follow-up, Tramps. Nat has participated in the Torino Film Lab as a Script Editor, was a recipient of a Jacob Burns Residency in 2021 and was named one of the “Jezebel 25 Amazing and Kick-Ass Women” in 2012.
