Pablo Fuentes Rivera (Mexico)

Pablo Fuentes Rivera is a Mexican screenwriter and director who grew up between Havana and the Andes surrounding Santiago de Chile. He studied acting and directing at Drama Centre London (Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London), a classical conservatoire grounded in the Stanislavski system, the European Method acting, and the Character Analysis developed by Yat Malmgren and Christopher Fettes. In 2018 he started teaching screenwriting at the Escuela Itinerante de Cine y Narrativa in Mexico City, working alongside Michael Rowe, and since 2025 he has taught acting at the Escuela Superior de Cine in Mexico City. Pablo co-wrote the screenplay for Lo sagrado (in pre-production) with Carlos Eichelmann Kaiser and is currently co-writing Solo el amor existe with Natalia López-Gallardo, while developing Dulce azafrán, his debut feature film as a director.
