Paulina Dana is an Argentine director and screenwriter with a degree in Film Directing from the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. She began her career on film sets at the age of 17, honing her craft in the industry as an assistant director and script supervisor on feature films, television series, and commercials. These experiences shaped her approach to writing, bringing a deep awareness of audiovisual storytelling, rhythm, and staging to her scripts. Paulina furthered her training in creative writing workshops with a gender perspective and participated in international residencies such as Kinomada in Canada and Kino Guarimba in Italy, where she directed three short films. Her projects in development include the miniseries Protocolo activado, winner of the screenplay competition at the 2023 Buenos Aires Youth Art Biennial, and her debut feature film, La diagnosticada, selected in 2025 for labs such as the Incubadora_Cine (Argentina) and Projeto Marieta (Brazil).
La diagnosticada — An irate taxi driver searches for the cause of her unbearable headaches, from traditional medicine to esotericism, unaware that what she needs is not a diagnosis, but to reconcile with the ghost of her mother.
