Pedro Paulo Araújo (Brazil)

Hailing from Fortaleza, Brazil, Pedro Paulo Araújo is a global storyteller who traversed seven diverse countries, awakening his profound passion for filmmaking. With a B.A. from the New York Film Academy, Pedro went on to direct and collaborate with music industry giants, crafting award-winning music videos that captivated billions. In 2020 he co-wrote the Saudi horror film Junoon, which premiered at the Red Sea Film Festival, followed by a theatrical release in the Middle East, and is available today on Netflix in the Middle East and North Africa. Most recently, Pedro has collaborated in scripts with Brazilian filmmakers like Selton Mello and spends his time between the United States and Brazil. He is currently in post-production for his short film Hemolymph, which he shot in Ceará earlier this year.
