Pol Rebaque is a photographer, screenwriter and filmmaker based in Barcelona. He holds a B.A. in Audiovisual Communication from the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. In 2013 he was granted a scholarship to continue his studies at the University of California Berkeley in the United States. That same year he started working as an intern and assistant in the studio of photographer Annie Leibovitz in New York City. Back in his hometown of Barcelona, he started working on the development of the feature film Júlia ist
as a screenwriter, producer and director of photography. The film premiered at the Malaga Film Festival, was screened at several international film festivals and won recognition from both public and critics in Spain. Pol continues to develop his career as a freelance photographer in both editorial and commercial projects in Barcelona, while developing his feature film A quién amas
, a project that was selected for the Mallorca Talents Lab program for screenwriters at the 2019 Atlantida Film Festival, as well as the VII Pitching Forum of Catalonia’s Screenwriters Association (GAC) and Barcelona’s independent film festival L’Alternativa in 2020.
