Tania Tinajero was born in Morelia, Mexico. She studied Screenwriting at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City and received a Master’s degree in Screenwriting from the Fundación de Investigación Audiovisual (FIA) in Valencia, Spain. Her short film Malos presagios won the 1^st National Competition for Short Film Projects launched by the Mexican Film Institute (IMCINE), and was screened in several international festivals. She was the recipient of a grant from both the Mexican Endowment for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and the IMCINE. Her feature script Verano was selected to participate in the 5^th Script Workshop Alejandro Galindo. Tania currently lives in Mexico City, where she works as a screenwriter for several TV series.
