Tania Tinajero (Mexico) - Observer

Tania Tinajero was born in Morelia, Mexico. She studied Screenwriting at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City and received a Master’s degree in Screenwriting from the Fundación de Investigación Audiovisual (FIA) in Valencia, Spain. Her short film Malos presagios won the 1st National Competition for Short Film Projects launched by the Mexican Film Institute (IMCINE), and was screened in several international festivals. She was the recipient of a grant from both the Mexican Endowment for Culture and the Arts (FONCA) and the IMCINE. Her feature script Verano was selected to participate in the 5th Script Workshop Alejandro Galindo. Tania currently lives in Mexico City, where she works as a screenwriter for several TV series.
