Teodoro Poppovic (Brasil)

Teodoro Poppovic is a Brazilian screenwriter and director who works in cinema and fiction series. He holds a Degree in Communication with a Specialization in Film from the Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) in São Paulo. Teodoro has created nine television series for media such as HBO Latin America and Rede Globo de Comunicação, among other free and cable television channels, which have been awarded the Prix Jeunesse and the International Emmy, among many other prizes. His most recent series is Feras (2019), for Viacom/GloboPlay. Teodoro directed the feature film TOC: Transtornada Obsessiva Compulsiva (Neurotic Quest for Serenity) (2017), a comedy that participated in festivals such as Chicago, Tallinn and SXSW, among others. Interior will be his second feature film.

Interior — Trying to isolate himself from his world and his time, Thomas decides to leave the largest metropolis in the country to live alone in a house in the mountains. As days, weeks and months go by, it becomes clear that life in the countryside is not simple, but just as complex, if not more: the very reality he wanted to escape is still there.
