Synopsis

A lost boy appears in a remote Andean village at the end of the 19th century. Nicanor, the village priest, decides to take care of him and discovers that a few drops of the boy’s blood make the crops grow and bear fruit magically. Before long, Nicanor realizes that the only way to keep the child alive is by feeding him human blood. The priest must decide whether to care for the boy and bring him new victims, or let him die, knowing that the villagers’ crops will die with him.
