Synopsis

Laura and Israël are a Brazilian middle-class couple in their 30s. They have a 5-year-old son, Lucas, a nice house, Sunday lunches and good breakfasts. But Israël and Laura are drifting apart and so is their life together. Their relationship seems headed for the rocks, and the only one who seems to still be looking for something from life is Lucas. Laura feels the warning signs of impending catastrophe. Her sudden disappearance takes Israël into unexpected territory, far from the comfort of their pleasant home.
